DAYS OF MINDFULNESS
Throughout the
year, Thursdays and Sundays are Day of Mindfulness, day of practice open to all
friends who would like to come to practice. A Mindfulness Day begins at
9a.m. with sitting meditation & chanting, walking meditation, a recent audio
recording of Thich Nhat Hanh teaching from Plum Village, or a live talk by
one of the teachers in residence here, and silent lunch. In the afternoon
there are activities such as group discussions, Tea Meditation or Touching
the Earth and Guided Relaxation which conclude at about 4-4:30pm. Please
arrive early, before 9a.m so you have time to settle in, to more deeply
benefit from the energy of the land, of the teaching and the practice.
We welcome you
to come and practice with us, for a Day of Mindfulness, for a few days a
week or several weeks. Please write or call us in advance to be assured of
